Responsibilities:
- Conduct schedule review and/or tracking for multi-million-dollar projects
- Maintain communications and rapport for the interchange of information between the project and other involved agencies
- Provide assistance to Director of Scheduling to analyze claims and value engineering proposals to establish schedule implications
- Act as a liaison for scheduling group and program/project office to provide feedback and summary information regarding projects and program schedule
- Manage internal controls including implementing process controls, measuring projects performance, audit services, and ensuring the integrity and validity of internally and externally disseminated information.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in Engineering/Construction with Scheduling/Project Controls with at least 1-2 years of Rapid Transit Capital Construction related experience preferred
- Computer literate and proficient with Project Control Software such as Oracle Primavera P6-Release 7 or latest versions and Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer applications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Project Controls from the design to the construction phases of the project
- Ability to improve the correlation between design and construction schedules and schedule control processes and the construction project
- Ability to ensure processes and procedures are appropriate and conduct reviews/oversight to validate quality and adherence to all requirements
- Ability to access the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of scheduling activities
- Ability to identify and coordinate time and cost saving opportunities in the execution of the Capital Program
- Ability to pass a full investigation background check
- Engineering or related Technical/Construction degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience will be selected.
