The scope of work includes preparing budgets, assessing project costs, formulating cost forecasts, and tracking progress on actual costs versus budgeted costs. MCSS personnel are skilled in performing schedule, cost, and budget analyses, as well as preparing status reports and presentations. They support the bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements of the Port Authority, providing these support services to the Project Management Office. In 2018, MCSS was also awarded a Project Management Services Call-In Agreement, where they are currently responsible for managing various civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, architecture, and geotechnical discipline-related projects ranging from $100K to $10M for the WTC Department. Their Project Manager maintains communication with project stakeholders and manages expectations, reviewing and approving contract drawings, design cost proposals, bidding documents, construction cost estimates, RFIs, and specifications, and submittals. They monitor and control cost and the overall project schedule against agreed performance targets, ensuring prompt and effective communication between staff during the design and construction phases of the project.
